June 8: A day that will live in infamy at the Leflore household Part 1!

There are days you will never forget in your life as a family. One being the day you get married and the other being the birth of your children. We approached the big day not like most people. I was finishing up work on condo in Oxford and Royann worked just like any regular day. We both met up late in the afternoon after I got home and got a hair cut and after Royann got off of work. We packed bags and took Ann Fleming to Pie and Pap's house to spend the night. We then went to Madison to spend the night with my cousin Russ and his family to make sure we got to the hospital on time. We had to be there at 5:30.  We stayed up most of the night excited and nervous at the same time about the new arrival. Russell, Russ's child came in and checked on us a couple of times trying to figure out why we were in his bed. We laid in bed talking about the the new baby and what the sex of it was. As with the first baby, we didn't find out what the sex of the baby was. I ran a contest on facebook again getting my friends to guess on the sex and weight of the baby. We had over 400 guesses on the big question. We woke up and realized it shouldn't be that bright outside for 4:30. The problem was we slept through our alarm. It was 6:00. We jumped into our clothes and headed off and hoping they didn't bump us for not showing up. We got there and literally as we were walking in the door they were calling our name. We met with the financial counselor and then they got Royann back and hooked her up to all of her I.V.'s. Here is the first shot of Royann I got when I walked into the room.

Then the family started to arrive. Ann Fleming came on back to wish her momma well. It was a little emotional for both of us realizing the impact of this on Ann Fleming.

It didn't take long for the arrival of Baby Leflore #2. Ann Fleming took till about 6:00 in the afternoon until she showed up. Baby Leflore #2 arrived earlier in the day at 1:42. Royann pushed a long time for Ann Fleming to get here. She pushed a couple of times for Baby Leflore #2 to get here. Dr. Cook said it couldn't have gone any better. IT WAS A GIRL! Here are a couple of shots of Baby Leflore #2 after making it into the world.

Then it was off to meet the rest of the family. We had two names going to the hospital, Bradley Wilson Leflore Jr. for a boy, and Taylor Killebrew Leflore for a girl. So I introduced her to the family for the first time using her proper name instead of Baby Leflore #2.

WELCOME TAYLOR KILLEBREW LEFLORE!
